I have officially been in Hamburg for one month! The city is absolutely gorgeous. Each district feels like a completely different city so there are endless places to explore. The city is very walkable when you are in central Hamburg which has made it very easy to explore. Transit here is amazing, once you figure out how to use it, it is very easy to navigate. I am at a school in Bergedorf for my observations doing all physical education classes. This was exactly what I was hoping for and it has been a fun and rewarding challenge. All of the PE classes are in German. The kids have been wonderful at translating for me to make sure I understand. The teachers are also happy because it forces the kids to work on their english outside of their english speaking classes:) The schedules we have has also allowed us to do some traveling outside of Germany. So far we have been Budapest and Mallorca, with a few other trips planned! Overall it has been a wonderful first month!
