Hey everyone!
I meant to post this on Monday, October 6th, but I kept losing track of time but here’s my post:
After last blog post I have still mainly been doing classes and touring around Glasgow which has been good!
Unfortunately this is because while I contacted my school that I could start volunteering, it was a week and I still had not heard anything. After I hadn’t heard back, I sent an email to the Strathclyde liaison, Tomasz, who said he would contact the school and get back to me asap. Today, Monday, I had not heard back from Tomasz or the school so I reached out again to the head teacher, what they call a principal, and she responded immediately! I was supposed to have been told that I could have gone in today so thankfully I emailed the school today!
This means that I will only get 3 days in schools which is a little disappointing but I have been taking in as much of the city and surrounding areas as possible! And tomorrow I get to start which I am very excited about!
My next blog post should be more interesting!
