In January 2024 we were thrilled to welcome eight visiting students from Queensland University of Technology, our partner institution in Brisbane, Australia. The visiting TABers attended Werklund classes and guest seminars, visited classrooms in a charter school, spent time with a group of high school students out at the Biogeoscience Institute in Kananaskis, and participated in service-learning opportunities with other Calgary schools with our partner organizations at City Hall School and Calgary Stampede.
They also took part in many cultural opportunities in and around Calgary while they were here, including line dancing at Ranchmans.
