G’day Mates
These past few weeks have been wonderful! Getting to go into the classrooms of not just one but three different Grade 4 classes has shown me different teaching methods. With practicum, right around the corner, I thought it would be best to be placed in Grade 4 to help get me strategies for when I am teaching. I have learned a lot and have come to find that I really enjoy the structure of these classrooms. Though some aspects like having the students eat outside or going outside to get to different classes are not something we could implement at home there are some that we could. The one thing that I like best is how all the teachers for one grader get together, [pick a subject, and that’s the one they plan, then they share with the other teachers. it lessens the work load for everyone!
I am very excited to see what happens through this last week here.
