This place is amazing! The first few days it definitely took some time to get used to the time change. It is crazy that when I am getting ready for bed my family is just waking up. At first I was falling asleep by 9:00 and waking up at 5:00 it was insane. Now that it is the end of the second week I am more accustomed to life here.

The city of Brisbane is huge and there is so much stuff to experience. So far I haven’t even touched the surface of the events. As for their transportation, it sure took a while to get it figured out. But I do most of my traveling by bus or by ferry. The ferry drives on the river that runs through the city, dividing into two. You definitely don’t want to go swimming in this river though. It has Sharks!

Unfortunately we have not been able to get into the schools just yet because the blue card system was a bit confusing. Now that we are all approved, we will be able to start as soon as the school gets back from their semester break.
