In January 2023, we were pleased to welcome seven visiting students from Queensland University of Technology, our partner institution in Brisbane, Australia. The visiting TABers attended Werklund classes and guest seminars, visited classrooms in a charter school, spent time with a private school out at the Biogeoscience Institute in Kananaskis, and participated in service-learning opportunities with other Calgary schools with our partner organizations at Telus Spark and Calgary Stampede.
They also engaged in many cultural opportunities in and around Calgary while they were here, including skating, skiing, snowboarding, line dancing, and attending Crowchild Classic.
